i WAS searching for a humanE…

Well well well…people often say, world has changed, it has not remained as it was before, by saying this they mean there is no honesty, no humanity, no kindness and all praiseworthy human characteristics which of course are a rare observations these days, but can anyone fetch me a single soul who does not feel good when he or she witnesses a display of human honesty, kindness and spirituality, bring me one and I would owe you one, believe me its not gonna be that easy.
Let me put forth you an instance which I witnessed while I was traveling back home for dusshera puja.
I was not supposed to get reservation since I was too late in making my decision whether I was going home or not, though three quarters of all were going, I was moved by the statistics and finally resolved the idea to go. Since I was late, I could not get reservation quite obviously, somehow I managed to get a waiting ticket for sleeper class, generally I travel in third ac, but since there was no probability that I could settle my ass in an ac compartment with a waiting ticket, I found it more accountable to get a sleeper ticket and it was not much of a trouble since I had a lot of friends travelling in that train many with confirmed tickets and too many like me, but anyways, I boarded the train.
I was on my way back home, train was running swiftly, since I was about to leave the state, I thought I should enjoy my last few minutes of tariff voucher before being tagged as roaming, I dialed my local friends n bid them goodbye and chattered till I crossed the loc for the mobile service providers.
I was sitting with two of my friends from patna, we were on side lower berth, on our adjacent similar berth there was a good friend of mine, with a similar waiting tag, sitting with his friend, I knew his friend by face and department and he was quite a friend of mine also, but I never knew his name, even now I don’t know his name. The friends I was sitting with had a visitor approximately after an hour the train has left the platform, he as well was from their native place but was a lot indecent in his social conduct, as he was refusing constantly to leave the place, I decided to roam my butt and see some other friends sitting in other compartments, I went to guys of my class and spent my night their sitting on their RAC berth.
It was a new day and was a fine new day; I didn’t brush my teeth on that day and ate whatever I could get to swallow. Once again I reached my initial position and sat their, borrowed ipod from my friend and started listening to music he had, he had approximately a quarter less than twice a century songs in his ipod, but believe me it was real crap, the had stored the same songs twice or thrice with remixed versions and hip hop versions and rap and what so ever has been discovered till today, I must say, either he was an extraordinary and diehard music lover or he was just fooling around, anyways, it was now noon and was the time when I witnessed a rare phenomena of humanity.
I was sitting and listening to music and there was a boy who was cleaning the compartment with a rag, he did the same to my bay also and asked for a coin as expected, I didn’t had change, so I could not help it, but a lady sitting there gave him a coin, he moved on without showing any emotions, there were approximately seven people in the bay including me but just one rendered him money, but still he was contented, he moved to next bay, did his work, and asked for the same, there was a student of my college sitting in that bay, he gave him a coin which I am not sure what amount was, anyways, he asked him his home place and his name, boy was from Bhopal and his name was pushpendra, the guy from my college asked him to sit on the berth next to him and offered him an orange, the boy took it willingly, as the boy peeled off the orange the guy from my college put forth his magazine for him to put the peel on, he collected the peel and threw it out of window, at least in my life time I had seen for the first time, a passenger and more importantly a college guy collecting and throwing peels of orange from a cleaning boy, till the boy ate the orange, this guy took out a shirt from his suitcase and gave it to him, the shirt was fine, probably was a combed cotton shirt, he gave it to the boy and asked him to put on, the boy put on the shirt and went to wash basin to brush his hair and in his shirt, when he came back no one could imagine he was a cleaning boy, who cleans train compartments with a rag, I saw him smiling for the first time, his smile was pretty, after all he was a mere boy, but unfortunately did not had any childhood and play hood, but seeing him smile was great, I took out my cell phone and clicked a couple of snaps of him, which are still in my mobile and my brother on seeing them asked me who is he and did not say anything, I don’t know why, but I just want to keep the snaps. The boy was sitting there, I too could not stop myself and moved to that bay, we were sitting there asking about his family and all, there was a tea vendor, the guy bought him a cup of tea and gave a whole packet of biscuits, he ate half of them and kept the rest in the pocket of his new shirt, we asked him who for he was saving the biscuits and he replied, for my sister, the boy could see his sister for may be once or twice a week, but had care for her in his heart, I never knew that people at this level also have such feelings, I thought that for them the primary, the secondary and the concern at all levels is just to satisfy their starvation, but I was so so wrong, they are so much like us, like all of us, may they are a little low in their financial status, but at the level of human emotions, they are no inferior to us, they deserve the same respect as we do, and this I’ve learnt quite well, credit goes to my unnamed friend, now I should say, he was the HUMANE I was searching for…
